Australian beauty and fragrance brands are expanding beyond traditional retail through luxury hotel partnerships, with Goldfield & Banks and Èliva Spa launching new collections designed to enhance guest experiences in premium hospitality settings.

Goldfield & Banks debuts hotel amenity collection

Goldfield & Banks has partnered with Pier One Sydney Harbour to introduce its first hotel amenity collection, featuring the signature Pacific Rock Moss fragrance across shampoo, conditioner, hand and body wash, and lotion. The 189-room waterfront hotel will house the coastal-inspired scent, developed in collaboration with Vanity Group, part of La Bottega Collective.

Founded by French-Belgian fragrance expert Dimitri Weber, the brand combines Australian native botanicals with French perfumery techniques. Pacific Rock Moss blends coastal moss with lemon, sage, geranium, cedarwood and white musk. Weber noted that Pier One’s waterfront location naturally complemented the fragrance’s coastal theme.

To mark the launch, Pier One offers a Goldfield & Banks Signature Stay package from 1 November 2026 to 30 April 2027. Priced from $499, it includes a Scent Discovery Set, 360ml Pacific Rock Moss Body Moisturiser, a 10ml fragrance, breakfast for two, and two signature cocktails at Pier Bar.

Èliva extends spa experience into retail

Èliva Spa, part of Salter Brothers Hospitality, launched a six-piece Australian botanical skincare line at its InterContinental Sydney Coogee Beach location. The collection features Desert Lime, Caviar Lime, Native Lime, Lilly Pilly, native plums, and macadamia oil.

The range includes a Mineral Mask ($50), Body Oil ($70), Face Oil ($80), Hammam Soap ($70), Hydrating Mist ($30), and Lip Balm ($30). Kate Greenwood, Director of Design & Brand at Salter Brothers Hospitality, emphasized the collection’s role in extending the spa experience beyond treatment rooms.

Three products integrate into Èliva’s thermal bathing ritual: Hammam Soap, Mineral Mask, and Body Oil. The process begins with olive-based soap, followed by a clay and native lime mask, and concludes with a nourishing oil applied post-treatment.

Gwen Giorla, Director of Spa & Wellness at InterContinental Sydney Coogee Beach, highlighted that guests can recreate elements of the ritual at home using the collection’s products.

Thermal ritual products extend spa experience home

The Science Meets Nature philosophy guides the collection’s development, resulting in products priced from $30 to $80 depending on size and complexity. The Hydrating Mist provides a convenient way to refresh skin throughout the day, while the Lip Balm offers essential nourishment. The Body Oil and Face Oil deliver intensive hydration, with the Face Oil incorporating premium ingredients like Buriti and Marula oils alongside Lilly Pilly for antioxidant benefits. Each product is designed to complement the others, allowing guests to build their own wellness routines inspired by their spa visits.

Wellness Experiences and Luxury Collaborations Expand Guest Engagement

La Prairie’s debut high jewellery collection, BLEU JARDIN, was unveiled in Sydney through a partnership with K’DOR, centered on a 53.98-carat natural Ceylon sapphire necklace. The event at Hotel Centennial included floral installations by Seed Flora and collaborations with Trudon and beauty specialist Amy Jean. Guests received an invitation for a complimentary La Prairie facial, extending brand engagement beyond the event.

These developments reflect a growing trend in luxury hospitality and beauty, with wellness-focused concepts like bathhouses and membership-based spas gaining traction in Australia. Beauty brands are leveraging cross-category partnerships and exclusive experiences to connect with affluent consumers, moving beyond traditional retail channels. The La Prairie-K’DOR collaboration builds on prior partnerships, highlighting strategic efforts to strengthen customer relationships in competitive markets.
