One of the newer firming serum offerings on the market is Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare’s DRx BioRejuvenation Serum Collagen Amino Acids + G.N.A., launched in August and priced at $89. The product aims to move beyond basic hydration and glow promises, targeting skin firmness for at-home users.

The formula was created by board-certified dermatologist Dr. Dennis Gross, whose brand is known for adapting clinical treatments into consumer-friendly versions. Its reputation rests on translating in-office technology into daily routines, a claim the company highlights in its marketing.

Ingredient mix targets firmness and more

The serum combines a precise blend of twelve collagen-building amino acids with a trio called G.N.A., which stands for glutathione, niacinamide and adenosine. Together they support cellular energy, combat oxidative stress, and aim to improve the appearance of elasticity and lift.

Additional actives include peptides, several molecular weights of hyaluronic acid, squalane, bakuchiol, retinol, and vitamin C. This lineup is intended to add smoothing, moisturizing, and antioxidant benefits while complementing the core firming claims.

At-home serums like this one reflect a broader shift toward DIY skin-care that mirrors professional procedures. Consumers increasingly seek products that promise measurable results without visiting a clinic, prompting brands to back claims with clinical data and ingredient transparency.

Clinical results and user feedback

According to the brand, “This product provides 12 collagen amino acids at a scientifically precise ratio to visibly lift, sculpt and tighten your skin,” said Dr. Dennis Gross. “For the first few weeks, you will see and feel hydrated skin and a smooth, healthy glow and your texture will show improvement.”

The company reports that 84 percent of participants in an eight-week trial observed firmer, tighter, and more resilient skin. In a separate twelve-week study, 90 percent said their skin felt tighter and revitalized, while 96 percent noted a rejuvenated appearance.

Users describe a silky texture that absorbs quickly, applying three pumps to face and neck before moisturizer. Many prefer morning use because the serum layers well under daytime moisturizers and pairs with sunscreen, though the brand allows night application as well.

Integration with professional procedures

The serum is marketed as a supportive adjunct to in-office treatments such as laser resurfacing and microneedling, provided the skin has fully healed. This positioning suggests it can extend the benefits of clinical work into daily maintenance.
