Fashion Week reveals new beauty trends

Paris Fashion Week has given beauty retailers a glimpse of upcoming trends, with Tom Ford and Givenchy showcasing new products and beauty directions in their latest runway shows. The two houses took different approaches backstage, but both featured targeted colour against fresh, perfected skin.
Tom Ford’s approach included lacquered red lips and metallic eyes, while Givenchy opted for graphic cobalt and jade liner. Fragrance also played a significant role at both shows, demonstrating how luxury houses are building complete beauty stories around their runway collections.
Tom Ford’s Statement Lip
At Tom Ford, Global Makeup Artist Lucy Bridge created eight looks across 53 models, with red emerging as a strong colour story. The Red Glass Lips look featured a high-shine finish, created by pairing Runway Lip Pencil in 105 Private Client with Runway Liquid Lip Color Matte in 16 Scarlet Rouge and topping it with Gloss Luxe in 01 Disclosure.
A darker interpretation combined a custom red lip with the same gloss, while Runway Gel Eyeliner in Cocoa and Black defined both eyes and lips. The looks point to renewed momentum for high-impact lip colour, with texture playing an increasingly important role.
New eye products were introduced backstage, including Runway Eye Color Quad Poudre in 28 Burnished Haze and Runway Eye Stylo Shimmer in Honey Veil and Burnt Copper.
Complexion and Color Trends
Away from statement lips, Tom Ford’s Pure and Natural look focused on complexion innovation. The new Architecture Multi-Use Foundation Stick, available in 25 shades, was used alongside other products to create a natural-looking finish with strategic sculpting and blurring.
Makeup artist Lucia Pieroni used Givenchy Beauty’s Khôl Couture Waterproof Eyeliners to create saturated geometric shapes around the eyes, while Prisme Libre Glow Serum Foundation was applied sparingly for a luminous finish.
The result puts coloured eyeliner, particularly saturated blue and green, back into focus while continuing the movement towards lighter, skin-like complexion finishes. Givenchy also introduced a new lipstick, Le Rouge Satin Silk Lipstick, available now at Myer.
Fragrance and Beauty Trends
Both Tom Ford and Givenchy extended their backstage beauty direction beyond makeup and into fragrance. Tom Ford scented its runway with new Tobacco Chocolat, an amber gourmand built around warm tobacco and dark chocolate. Givenchy finished its runway beauty look with L’Interdit Elixir, priced at $230 for 50ml.
